Brain Dead Man's Organs Donated: Liver and two kidneys transplanted at MIMS

 Organ donation is the act of donating an organ by a person so that it can be transplanted by surgical procedure in the body of the recipient. Organ donation can benefit the recipient largely by improving health, quality and span of his life and even save him from death or other critical conditions like paralysis. Setting an another example in organ donation,the relatives of Mr.saji George from kannur who was declared as brain death due to an accident have donated the organs of the deceased to five people.Saji;s two kidney's,livers and eyes had given a new life to five patients who are suffering from several illness and are waiting for the suitable organ donors.

The organ transplantations had held in MIMS Hospital,Calicut where Saji was admitted.
